Meet Claire | Arizona Birth Photographer

Hey, Mama! I’m so glad you are here.

I’m Claire, a lemonade loving Scottsdale Arizona birth photographer who is always dreaming of my next Hawaiian vacation. I am a midwest girl turned desert dweller because people do crazy things for love! I am a proud police wife. My handsome husband and I just celebrated 14 years of marriage with a babymoon on Maui. We have four cute kiddos with a fifth one due to arrive in just a few weeks’ time. And in case five kiddos isn’t enough, we also have a flock of backyard chickens and a dog named Kevin the Bird. She’s a girl.

It could be said that I am slightly obsessed with all things birth and baby. It is not uncommon for me to meet someone new and by the end of our conversation, I know all about their pregnancy and childbirth experiences. No joke, I just met someone new at my daughter’s dance studio this weekend. By the time we finished talking, I knew all about her posterior position first birth. And how much easier birth was for her the second time around!

With 12 years of motherhood and 10 years of photographing births under my belt, nothing is off-limits. If you want to talk cravings and contractions, placentas and pushing, I’m your girl! When your husband is done hearing your pregnancy woes, text me! When your best friend can’t handle one more text gushing over blankets and car seats and strollers, call me! You’re speaking my language. We’ll grab a lemonade and talk all things baby.

Being a birth photographer is my dream come true.

After the birth of my oldest, I knew I had to be part of birth as often as possible. And my husband just wasn’t on board with me having hundreds of babies! I started looking at becoming a midwife or a labor and delivery nurse. Then I discovered birth photography and I knew what my role was to be! Merging my two great loves of photography and childbirth has been such a blessing in my life. My hope and prayer is that the images I provide to my clients will be a blessing in theirs.
