Tomorrow marks the beginning of the last 90 days 0f 2018. Kind of crazy to think about. On the one hand, 90 days feels like a long time. 90 days is so far away! But on the other- it’s basically almost Halloween, which means it’s Thanksgiving, which means it’s Christmas. Hello, 2019! Nice to see you!
I am one of “those people” who often starts a new year with a shiny list of goals that I just know I am going to accomplish. Then it seems like September/October rolls around and I am just trying to survive the chaos of the end of the year. I have goals I want to accomplish, but I put them off saying “I’ll {insert area that needs improvement} come January.” And in doing this, I throw away 90+ good days. 90 days that I could be using to better myself, better my life, better the lives of my family.
This year, I’m doing it differently. I’m not waiting until January to eat better/exercise more/be a better wife & mother. I’m doing it now! I am joining Rachel Hollis in her #last90days challenge and I am making the end of 2018 as productive and intentional as I possibly can. I’ve set some lofty goals for myself. (Hello, half marathon on December 19th! Of course I’m ready for you!) I will make these goals happen.
My last 90 days starts today, which yes, technically makes it 91 days. I love that bonus day! My goals are written out. I have an action plan for how I will tackle these goals. Will each of them be checked off, fully and completely done, by the time 2019 begins? Nope! Like I said, I have some really big goals on this list! But, I will be moving in the right direction, I will be getting things done. I won’t just be sitting back, letting life happen to me. I will be making life happen for me.
