I love Fresh 48 hospital newborn sessions! They are such a great way to document the magic of those first few days of newborn life, while things are still relatively calm.
Yes, I know- hospital stays involve lots of interruptions. Someone comes into your room every hour or two to check vitals or have you sign paperwork. But! That is still a huge improvement over laundry, meal planning, and bill paying. You know, all those extra things to do on top of caring for yourself and a newborn.
In spite of all the hospital room interruptions, I still find my post-baby hospital stay to be a relaxing and special time. I love it when new mamas invite me into their hospital rooms. I love helping them document that special bonding time through photographs.
Lynelle is a dear friend of mine who also happens to be an extremely talented photographer. She definitely could have taken some of these photos herself! But, she recognizes the importance of getting in front of the camera herself, especially with a newborn. It was an honor to be invited to help celebrate baby Gabriel’s arrival with a Fresh 48 hospital newborn session.
Lynelle delivered at one of my favorite valley hospitals, HonorHealth Scottsdale Shea. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Every experience I have had with this hospital, whether delivering my own baby or photographing a client’s baby, has been amazing.
And let’s just take a moment to appreciate that even after a med-free delivery, with lots of pushing as baby Gabriel was sunnyside up for a bit, Lynelle still looks like a supermodel! Post delivery goals, right there!
Welcome to the world, Baby Gabriel! It was such a joy to play a small role in documenting your arrival! I can’t wait to watch you grow.
